This person found it unbelievable that the internet could have reached darkest Africa, and that they could actually chat to someone live on the internet in this so called "dark continent".

I could not allow this opportunity to slide by, and responded: "Yes, and I find the internet a huge improvement on the bonga-bonga drums we used just until last week!"

I started my IT-career in 1987, programming in DOS. My longest running DOS-program was active from 1994 to 2013, managing a cattle feedlot. Its long working span had a lot to do with the stability of the DOS-environment, and perhaps even more with the stingy users who would not spend more money on a Windows or web-based system!

Programming is all about communication. How to take raw, unstructured data and present it to the user in a structured format which makes sense to him/her. Web design is more or less the same, with the added advantage that you can present your results to the whole world, not just one person, and that your presentation can be graphic and becoming to the beholder.

Service Level Agreement

The service level agreement costs R385/month. Included in this price are:
  • Any minor adjustments to the website like additional content such as articles or photos;
  • CMS and component updates as they come available;
  • Also, once a month a full website backup is made of the CMS structure, website content and SQL database. This backup is downloaded and stored off-site.
Not included are major structural changes and revamps of the website.
